Justin Knoepfel is a writer, director, producer based in New York with a passion for engaging, unique storytelling and genre films. He seeks to examine the dark corners of human nature, highlighting stories of the taboo and the often underrepresented emotional challenges faced in daily life

His work has been supported by ARRI through their grant program "Fresh Perspectives" and has screened at various festivals, with screenings at Rhode Island International Film Festival, Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, FilmQuest, and has been featured by both Crypt TV and Gunpowder & Sky's ALTER. 

 

In 2025 he was a selected fellow of the prestigious Film at Lincoln Center and New York Film Festival Artist Academy program. ​
